Competition to fund stories on violence against women [Brazil]

Journalism students in Brazil can compete for the Fernando Pacheco Jordão Young Journalist Awards.

Organized by the Vladimir Herzog Institute, the contest seeks story ideas related to violence against women.

Ten finalists will receive mentorship and a grant to produce and publish their news stories.

Candidates can apply in five categories: newspaper, magazine, radio, television and multimedia.

The deadline is June 19.
