Workshop focuses on journalism and pseudoscience [Latin America]

Journalists residing in Latin America and covering science and health can apply for this workshop.

The Gabriel Garcia Marquez Foundation for a New Iberoamerican Journalism (FNPI) organizes the workshop in Spanish "En busca de la vacuna contra la desinformación" Aug. 22 to 24 in Cartagena de Indias, Colombia.

Participants will discuss the role of journalism in the struggle against pseudosciences and will learn methodologies and tools to produce attractive and rigorous pieces on topics related to science and health.

Twenty applicants will be selected. They will receive accommodation in Cartagena de Indias, air tickets and some meals.

The deadline is July 21.
