Journalism fellowships open [Worldwide]

Publishers, programmers, web designers, media analysts, academics and journalists can apply for the 2020 Knight Visiting Nieman Fellowships.

The Nieman Foundation for Journalism at Harvard offers short-term visiting fellowships for research projects designed to advance journalism. These projects can include topics like programming, design, financial strategies and more.

The fellowships can last up to 12 weeks, depending on the scope of the projects. Fellows will have access to the resources at Harvard, including its scholars, research centers and libraries.

Fellows receive a stipend of US$1,350 per week if not supported by an employer during the fellowship, as well as free housing for the length of their stay at Harvard.

The deadline to apply is Sept. 27.
