Center for Health Journalism hosts Webinar on Toxic cities[Worldwide]

Journalists interested in health and environmental reporting are invited to attend this free program.

The Center for Health Journalism at the University of Southern California will host the webinar "Toxic cities: telling big stories on hidden risks" at 1 p.m. EDT on June 6.

The hourlong webinar will focus on innovative reporting and testing strategies that can result in urgent, high-impact stories.

The panelists are Wendy Ruderman, investigative reporter for Philadelphia Daily News and Philadelphia Inquirer; and Barbara Laker, also investigative Reporter for Philly Inquirer/Daily News. They co-authored the series “Toxic City,”  which exposed the dangers to children in Philadelphia of toxins in their homes, neighborhoods and schools.
