Ecological rights center offers seminar for environmental journalists [Russia, Europe]

Environmental journalists and activists from Russia and European Union countries can apply for this free seminar
The ecological rights center BELLONA and the Association of the Environmental Journalists in Russia are organizing the seminar "Quality journalism for environmental activists in Russia and the EU" Feb. 11 to 14, 2019 in St. Petersburg, Russia.
The seminar will focus on investigating waste disposal problems, including hazardous non-radioactive waste. Russian-English interpretation will be provided.
Each participant will have one month after the seminar to write an article on an environmental problem, connected to waste management and relevant for their country or region.
The organizers will cover travel and accommodation expenses for selected participants.
Emerging activists and journalists with a passion for environmental issues are especially encouraged to apply.
The deadline is Oct. 31.
