Competition focuses on digital tools that combat false news [Brazil]

Developers, journalists and others are invited to submit a digital tool that fights fake news.
Catraca Livre, in partnership with the SEB Institute of Education, will offer BRL100,000 to a digital invention that quickly helps to identify falsehoods spread on social media.
The digital tool should be ready in April with the aim of being implemented before national elections in Brazil. The cash prize must be used to improve the tool.
The winning work will be free to be used by any media outlet and will be featured in the Guide to Intelligent Citizenship, a partnership between Catraca Livre and Microsoft.
The deadline is March 15.
